I'm uber excited and equally saddened by this one. Do you know which one I'm talking about? That's right, it's the final installment to the Spartan Riders series. I didn't want to end it, but honestly, it was the right time. The characters and the world have run their course. For me, they are simply done talking, and while I'm sad to close the door on the Spartan world, I'm exciting to start new projects that have been waiting patiently in the wings to have their turn.

"COCKY" will be the fifth and final book. And, if you've had a bead on the author community and all the drama surrounding what has been dubbed "Cockygate" I assure you, no, MY "Cocky" is not a marketing ploy or a bandwagon thing or any of that nonsense. In fact, I've had this title picked out for well over a year. The writing just took me ages to finish. With all the drama surrounding this one word, I almost decided to postpone the release until the word was cleared via courts and such. Then I toyed with the idea of simply re-titling altogether to avoid the crap that could come with it, but then, at the end of the day, I said no. Nobody OWNS a word. And I put WAY too much into designing the story around it for any other title to make sense. So, I'm sticking with "Cocky" because Moose is a cocky guy and he deserves his day, "Cockygate" be damned.

So I hope you'll go into this book with open arms and a lot of enthusiasm. I know everyone has been waiting for Moose to have his day since he walked onto the page back in "Grit," and I promise you won't be disappointed! This guy had my editor sweating and giddy as a schoolgirl again, so I know he'll be rocking your Kindles just as soon as he touches them.
