Books for Boobies 2015 Anthology
I'm honored to have been invited to be a part of this year's Books for Boobies coming October 2015. For those of you who are not familiar with this, it is a collection of short, smutty scenes from some of your favorite authors and their most memorable characters. In case you missed it, I held a vote on my Facebook page in June asking what couple readers wanted to see more of. They chose Ally & Jami from the Wayward Fighters series :) Keep reading for an unedited excerpt of Takedown, not available anywhere else!

Growing up with a piece of shit, abusive father and detached mother, in trouble with the law, he’d pulled himself up by his boot straps and clawed his way up just to be where he was standing now. The only thing he knew to do was push forward, give it everything he had left to ensure his son never wanted for anything. And Ally was asking him to back down?
“Hey.” Feeling the pressure on his jaw increase, Jami looked up into his wife’s earnest jade green eyes. “You’re overthinking. The gym is a success. You’re a success. Taking the time to enjoy it and your family isn’t going to change that.”
His breaths grew choppy as Jami considered her words. “I don’t know if I can turn it off,” he whispered. His throat tightened as he considered the possibility of walking away. Loosening the reigns a bit. Releasing some control.
As if she read his mind, Ally turned, repositioning herself on his lap so her toned legs draped over either side of his. Tying her hands behind his head, she leaned in until her mouth was a hairsbreadth away from his, and spoke against his lips. “Then maybe I can show you how.”
Her sultry voice sent a shock of need bolting through Jami’s chest and straight down to his crotch. Instantly, he swelled for her, his pants constricting almost painfully against his hardened cock. Groaning, Jami seized the back of Ally’s head, fisting the long, thick mane of hair in his ruined fist and yanked her to him. Their mouths sealed in a furious kiss, their breaths sawing in and out of their lungs, as they feasted on each other.
That fast, Ally had taken his mind off his troubles, easing his frayed nerves and silencing the voice inside his head that filled him with doubts.
As always, she’d managed to tame the beast inside him.
Wordlessly, Jami stood, lifting his wife in his arms. The feel of her legs as they wrapped around his waist and she held on tight to him, their kiss unbroken, as if she trusted him implicitly, made him feel powerful. Even though he’d never step back into the ring to fight, she clung to him like a safety net.
In long strides, Jami carried Ally back into the heart of the gym, across the open floor, past all the equipment, to the very ring that shaped him into the man he was today.
